EVERYTHING CONNECTED / SALINAS VALLEY USA

In Everything Connected I placed myself in the agricultural fields of San Juan Bautista, Salinas Valley and Central Valley USA (Ca.); the area where the seed breeding company Enza Zaden and Coastal Seeds operate, also known as 'the salad bowl of the world'.  While sitting down with pencil and paint the intimate theatre arises. Besides the agricultural process I follow the social choreography of the workers, the Mexicans, Americans and myself. All the attention is focused on the earth - originally historical Mexican soil - to provide the world with food. Everything Connected is a visual report in which everything is inextricably linked and everyone is subordinate to the earth and its agricultural work process.
